RAID Shadow Legends Update 9.20 Champion Rebalance

The team behind RAID: Shadow Legends has announced that they will be rebalancing three of their Mythical champions with the upcoming 9.20 update.

The Champions to undergo a rebalance will be Frolni the Mechanis, Mezomel Luperfang, and Aphidus the Hivelord.

Frolni and Mezomel will receive some needed damage increase, while Hivelord will benefit from a series of changes that will boost his utility in both PvE and PvP.

Frolni the Mechanist

Frolni’s attacking skills will receive a nice damage boost, making it so that players can trust him with the position of their main damage dealer.

The main parts of his kit will remain the same, but the increased damage should help him see more use.

Mezomel Luperfang

Mezomel will also benefit from an overall damage increase to most of her skills, both in her Main and Alternate forms. Apart from this, her Main form’s A2 will now be able to ignore DEF.

Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Will ignore [Stone Skin], [Strengthen], [Ally Protection], and [Shield] buffs. Places a [Block Revive] debuff if the target is killed.	Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Will ignore 15% of the target's DEF, as well as [Stone Skin], [Strengthen], [Ally Protection], and [Shield] buffs. Places a [Block Revive] debuff if the target is killed.

Aphidus the Hivelord

Aphidus is the champion receiving the biggest round of changes this time around. With update 9.20, the developers are hoping to make Aphidus more viable in PvE and PvP by increasing his overall impart.

They will try to make this by making changes to all of Aphidus’ skills, both in his Main and Alternate forms.

Attacks 1 enemy. Places a [Perfect Veil] buff on the ally with the highest ATK for 1 turn.	Damage increased Attacks 1 enemy. Places a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns. Also places a [Perfect Veil] buff on this Champion for 1 turn.
A2 - Umbral Stingers
Old	New
Attacks all enemies. Before attacking, places a 50% [Increase ATK] buff on all allies for 2 turns. Then, increases the duration of all enemy debuffs by 1 turn.	Damage increased Attacks all enemies. Before attacking, places a 50% [Increase ATK] buff on all allies for 2 turns. Will ignore 25% of a target's DEF if they are not under a [HP Burn] debuff. Will ignore 50% of a target's DEF if they are under a [HP Burn] debuff. Then, increases the duration of all enemy debuffs by 1 turn.
A3 - Blisterbug Horde

Attacks all enemies. Instantly activates any [HP Burn] debuffs on each enemy. If an enemy is not under any [HP Burn] debuffs, place a [HP Burn] debuff on them for 2 turns.	Damage increased Attacks all enemies. Damage increases by 25% against targets under any debuffs. Instantly activates any [HP Burn] debuffs on each enemy. If an enemy is not under any [HP Burn] debuffs, place a [HP Burn] debuff on them for 2 turns.

A1 - Crushing Pincers

Attacks 1 enemy. Places a 50% [Increase ACC] buff on the ally with the lowest ACC for 2 turns.	Attacks 1 enemy. Places a 50% [Increase ACC] buff on the ally with the highest ACC for 2 turns and fills their Turn Meter by 10%.
A2 - Putrid Cocoon
Old	New
Attacks all enemies. Places a [Stun] debuff on all enemies for 1 turn. Places two 15% [Continuous Heal] buffs on all allies for 2 turns if no [Stun] debuffs were placed by this skill.	Attacks all enemies. Places a [Stun] debuff on all enemies for 1 turn. Also places two 15% [Continuous Heal] buffs on all allies for 2 turns.
A3 - Behold The Beast
Old	New
Places a [Provoke] debuff on all enemies for 1 turn. Also places a 25% [Strengthen] buff on this Champion for 2 turns, and a 60% [Increase DEF] buff on all allies for 2 turns.	Places a [Provoke] debuff on all enemies for 1 turn. Also places a 25% [Strengthen] buff and a 60% [Increase DEF] buff on all allies for 2 turns.
P - Entomophobia
Old	New
When attacked, has a 100% chance of placing a 25% [Weaken] debuff, and a 35% chance of placing a [Stun] debuff on the attacker for 1 turn. Increases this Champion’s DEF by 1 point for every 2 points of ATK when in their Alternate Form.	When attacked, has a 100% chance of placing a 25% [Weaken] debuff, and a 40% chance of placing a [Stun] debuff on the attacker for 1 turn. Increases this Champion's DEF by 1 point for every 2 points of ATK when in their Alternate Form.
