Players can expect frantic firefights and non-stop action in this free-for-all skirmish amidst the snowy exterior of the Arctic Workshop map. What is Freeze For All Event?

The centerpiece of the event is the all-new Freeze For All mode, a 10-player free-for-all deathmatch with zero downtime.

• There are no set Attack or Defense sides - instead, the mode features 5 rotating roles that shift every round.
• Roles determine your weapon loadout and special ability, like increased speed or health.

This keeps the gameplay fresh and forces players to rapidly adapt new strategies. The fierce fight persists even after you’re out, as eliminated players respawn on the roof to pelt others with disabling snowballs. Freeze For All promises white-knuckle action as players battle to be the final Operator standing each round.

Freeze For All Event Duration & Location

R6's "Freeze For All" event will be running from December 13th, 2023 through January 5th, 2024. The event takes place on Rainbow Six Siege’s first new map release for Year 8: the Arctic Workshop.

• This icy exterior zone surrounding the Hereford Base has frigid temperatures and treacherous terrain.
• Snow drifts reduce visibility while breakable ice walls and underground passages provide new tactics.

The Arctic Workshop’s icy aesthetic and distinct multi-level design ensure firefights feel unique compared to existing maps. Survival depends on using your winter surroundings wisely.

New Cosmetic Content

Ubisoft has also packed Freeze For All with plenty of festive cosmetics to unlock.

• Players can earn collection packs containing themed weapon charms, headgear, uniforms, and more through special event challenges.
• There are also new paid bundles allowing you to kit out Operators like Frost, Jäger, and Flores in winter gear.

Past year’s winter cosmetics are also back in the shop, letting you grab any missed holiday-themed skins. And by logging in during the event, everyone scores one free collection pack just for participating!
