The optics system is getting completely overhauled in Operation Deadly Omen. Players will have to say goodbye to the trusty 1.5x scope. The new optics categories are:

  • 1x - Reflex, Red Dot
  • 2.5x - Medium zoom scopes
  • Telescopic - ACOG, long zoom

This shake-up will affect which sights certain guns can equip. Players will need to relearn their favorite weapon builds.

However, there's one aspect of the new optics that has fans buzzing with excitement: Ash will once again have her ACOG sight available for her R4C rifle. Get ready for the return of the broken Ash rush strategy!
