This tier list will look at all of the characters in Reverse: 1999 and group them into 5 tiers.

  • S-Tier: The meta characters in the game. These characters can help you clear any content easily.
  • A-Tier: These characters are slightly lacking when compared to S-Tier characters but can still clear content easily.
  • B-Tier: Characters in this tier require a bit more investment than other characters to do well.
  • C-Tier: Characters in this tier are somewhat niche and can do well, but only when used in specific teams.
  • D-Tier: Characters in this tier are not recommended as they are currently very weak.

The newest 6-star character to be added to the game and the best DPS character in Reverse: 1999. She can deal a ton of damage while also buffing her crit rate.

PROS:

  • Powerful carry
  • Versatile team building
  • Easy to play

CONS:

  • None
Vila
Vila

Vila is one of the newer supports added to the game, and her cleansing and healing abilities make her one of the best sustain picks to have on your teams.

PROS:

  • Great healer and buffer
  • AP-friendly
  • Great support utility

CONS:

  • Doesn’t deal damage
  • Single-target buffs
  • Reliant on Ultimate
Windsong
Windsong

Windsong stands out with her sheer single-target DPS potential, standing way above any other DPS unit. On top of that, she is also self-sufficient when it comes to buffs, making her a must-pick.

PROS:

  • Amazing single-target DPS
  • Self-sufficient

CONS:

  • Requires a lot of buildup
  • Somewhat complicated to play

Isolde

Isolde is a sub-DPS character that can not only deal a ton of damage but is also able to debuff enemies, offering a lot of utility to your teams.

PROS:

  • Great debuffing potential
  • Deals a lot of damage for a support

CONS:

  • Requires some buildup

 

Tooth Fairy
Tooth Fairy

Despite being one of the first characters to be added to Reverse: 1999 Tooth Fairy’s support capabilities still remain top-tier thanks to her Crit Rate and Crit DMG buffs.

PROS:

  • Great buffing and debuffing capabilities
  • Amazing healer and cleanser

CONS:

  • Really squishy
  • Not useful when used with DPS characters that don’t prioritize Crit

Jiu Niangzi is the first truly limited character to be added to Reverse: 1999, and despite being a bit old, she is still quite powerful when used in all types of content, thanks to her ridiculous DPS potential.

PROS:

  • Strong follow-up attacks
  • Easy to use

CONS:

  • Not available in the standard banner
Marcus
Marcus

Marcus is a unique character who can upgrade her incantations to deal a ton of burst damage. She is great when paired with other Plant, Spirit, or Intellect allies.

PROS:

  • High burst damage
  • Versatile pick

CONS:

  • Needs a specific team to fully utilize her potential

6 is a jack of all-trades. He can support, debuff, and even deal damage. He is a great support unit that comes with a bit of RNG in his kit but is still a great pick for any form of content.

  • Easy to use at Insight 3

CONS:

  • RNG factor when it comes to buffs and debuffs
  • AP greedy
Getian
Getian

Getian is another 6-star support character that offers a one-of-a-kind buff in the form of an Array. He is a powerful support unit for Reality characters.

PROS:

  • Powerful buffing and debuffing capabilities
  • Array buff
  • Easy to use

CONS:

  • Limited to Reality teams
  • Somewhat AP greedy
