Reverse 1999 Version 2.2: Carnival Special Guest Event - Free 6-star Character

The livestream for Reverse: 1999 Version 2.2 just dropped yesterday, and it revealed a ton of new content coming to the game. This update will be one of the biggest ones yet promising to deliver a brand new exclusive character, a ton of events to be had, a lot of free summons to be gained, and most importantly a free 6-star character for everyone! During the version 2.2 update, players will get the chance to participate in the Carnival Special Guest event to obtain a 6-star character from the standard banner for free. We know this sounds exciting, and we’re stoked to tell you more about it below, so let’s not waste any more time and get right into the details of this new event!

Event Duration

The Carnival Special Guest event will begin alongside the Version 2.2 update on January 9, 2025. It will remain active until the end of the version, late next month, giving you more than enough time to get into the game and obtain a 6-star character for free. Event Requirements

To be eligible to participate in the event, players will have to meet the following requirements:

• Complete the main story 1ST.01

Upon completing this requirement, players will be eligible to participate in the event. 1ST.01 is the first chapter that players will encounter when beginning to play through Reverse: 1999’s story, so even new players will clear it in no time at all. You do not need any specific characters or a build-up team to complete the requirements for this event. You only need to begin playing the game, making this a truly free-to-play event for both new and active players.

Event Details

The Carnival Special Guest event will give out one free 6-star character from the Standard Banner roster. By logging in during the event, players will get a 6-star character from the Standard Pool that they do not have! The characters that will be available will include all 6-star characters that have been added to the Standard Pool up to Version 1.9, making for one big roster. One thing to note is that you WILL NOT get to pick the character you want but will get them at RANDOM, so keep that in mind, and do not set your expectations too high! Lastly, if you already happen to have all of the characters from the Standard Pool, you will not get a character but will get the choice to select an Artifice for any of the pool’s available 6-star characters.

All in all, there are no losers in this event, and whether you’re a new or an active player, everyone will get something, making it a truly nice free-to-play event that gives back to the community for supporting the game!
