Sakamoto Days Chapter 171 Spoilers: Release Date & Raw Scans

The previous chapter, Chapter 170, of Sakamoto Days was packed with action and revealed a lot about the new JAA members. Sakamoto, Shin, and Nagumo were all wearing disguises that tricked the new leader of the Order, Oki, into kidnapping them. Oki's target was Sakamoto, who was dressed as his wife, as he wanted to interrogate her. However, the three of them had to run away after Shin was revealed.

The end of the chapter was emotional for Sakamoto because he realized that not only could he have died on Hana's birthday, but her cake had also melted. This was the first time he thought his family was in trouble and that he might not be able to handle the Order's attacks.

Sakamoto Days Chapter 171 Leaks

• At the beginning of the chapter, we see the troubled Sakamoto staring at the store. He shares his thoughts about whether or not he should leave the store with Nagumo, who quickly agrees that he should. Nagumo goes on to explain that nothing will be the same from now on; since they have been suspected of helping Slur's attack, they are wanted criminals.
• Nagumo tells Sakamoto that they have only two options, both of which are deadly: either kill Slur and prove their innocence or demolish the whole JAA organization.
• Sakamoto goes for a walk to calm his mind when two assassins attack him, and he defeats them in seconds.

• When he returns to the store, Aoi brings up that they have to talk about "that" topic.
• Worried, he thinks she wants to discuss divorce, but it seems Aoi is just worried about the store's slow business and that they might have to close it. The constantly appearing assassins are driving the customers away, and the store is struggling.
• Sakamoto suggests that they move to a safer place, but Aoi says this place is full of valuable memories for her.

• We then see a flashback from years before when Sakamoto was trying to find a job but could not fit in anywhere. Aoi suggests they should turn this house into a store where Sakamoto can work but also feel at home. We then see a wholesome panel of how they built the store together, with Shin, Heisuke, and Lu joining them.

• Sakamoto then rushes to the old woman's clinic and asks Shin how many facilities JAA has. We find out they have 37 in Japan and 4 abroad.
• Sakamoto reveals his new plan: take over JAA and use their facilities to make their store a nationwide chain.
• Just as Sakamoto is about to reveal more about his plan, everyone focuses on the news coming from the TV. JAA's weapon factory has been attacked by Slur and his group.
• The chapter ends with a panel of Slur on top of a building, still in his Takamura appearance.
