The Galaxy Sword Cheat

There is a much easier way to obtain the Galaxy Sword than waiting to get a Prismatic Shard. It does cost some money if you haven't gotten around to buying the item you need.

  • Buy the catalog from Pierre’s General Store for 30,000 G and purchase the green wallpaper
  • Holding the green wallpaper, stand between the three pillars in Calico Desert
  • The game will read the green wallpaper as a Prismatic Shard and will give you the Galaxy Sword

Out Of Bounds Cheat

Have you ever wanted to try and break the physics of the game? You can actually access places that are out of bounds, which can help you reach inaccessible bubbles in the water while fishing. Be careful not to get stuck somewhere!

  • Get to the border of an area and stand on the edge (for example, the Dock)
  • Take out a weapon or your fishing rod and swing it repeatedly
  • The more you swing, you will fling yourself forward out of bounds areas

Timeless Fishing Cheat

You can level up your fishing skills while freezing time in the game, allowing you to raise your level faster and fish for longer.

  • While fishing, open up your journal
  • That will pause the in-game time but you'll keep fishing in the background
  • When you hook a fish, you can reel it and then repeat the process

Bedtime Delay Cheat

There's another way to utilize the journal to bend time to your will. When 2 am hits and you don't want to pass out yet, this is what you need to do.

  • Wait until your character starts yawning
  • Open the journal as fast as you can before you pass out; that will prevent you from going to sleep
  • Be ready to repeat this action several times, as the game will try to prompt it again until you go to sleep in your bed.

Unlimited Money Cheat

This ultimate hack works because of a neat feature ConcernedApe included in the game. Every object in the game comes with its unique internal ID number. Naming your character using an ID number in brackets will give you the item that corresponds with the number whenever an NPC mentions you by your name.

For example, entering [645][499][163] will give you an Iridium Sprinkler, Ancient Seeds, and a Legend. One Stardew Valley player, Mateus Aquino, made a helpful sheet with all the internal ID codes for quick access.

Naming a character with an invalid object item ID (such as [26]) will generate an Error Item. This is possible only on the mobile version.

Meowmere Sword

The Meowmere is a secret sword weapon based on the weapon of the same name in Terraria. Here is how to obtain it:

  • Throw an Ancient Doll into the lava pool on floor 100 of the Mines, or into the lava next to the chest at the Forge on Ginger Island
  • A bone serpent from Terraria will rise from the pool and give you the Far Away Stone
  • Place the Far Away Stone on the plant pedestal found in the basement of Wizard's Tower
  • A portal will open, and a cat will step in and give you the Meowmere weapon

Feast of The Winter Star

If one of the following items is placed on a table or a long table, before the night of Winter 24, the eve before Feast of the Winter Star, it will be replaced with a Mystery Box the next morning.

  • Milk
  • Large Milk
  • Goat Milk
  • Large Goat Milk
  • Cookies

Tone Deaf

In multiplayer mode, if a player's randomized unique multiplayer ID (only editable in the save file) is divisible by 111, the music they produce will sound off.

  • The music emote will produce a random off-tune strum instead of one of the normal melodies.
  • The piano in Elliott's Cabin will play off-key tones (F4, C5, D5, G#5) instead of the usual ones (B4, D#5, E5, F#5), and the other piano Easter egg won't trigger.
