Feeling overwhelmed by the vastness of Starfield? Perhaps the endless exploration has left you yearning for a break. If you find yourself weary of the Starborn business, or if the prospect of alien encounters is getting you down, we have excellent news for you, fellow traveler—Paradiso, the Settled Systems' most splendid resort destination, is open and ready to whisk you away on a well-deserved escape.
You may have caught wind of Paradiso, but pinning down its precise location can prove a tad elusive without proper guidance. The silver lining is that your pursuit will be rewarded, for Paradiso beckons with its serene skies, sandy shores, and the absence of menacing alien creatures. If the idea of basking in the sun without a worry in the universe appeals to you, read on.
The best part? You won't need to journey far. Paradiso's idyllic resort nestles on Porrima 2 within the Porrima system, situated to the east of Jemison, the very planet housing Constellation's headquarters. While you may require an upgraded Grav Drive or larger fuel tanks to make a series of leaps, rest assured that your voyage will be well worth the effort.
Let's delve into what makes Paradiso an enticing destination:
-
Exclusive Services: Paradiso boasts a diverse array of services found nowhere else. Here, you can relish the Settled Systems' exclusive gourmet Chunks (feel free to hold your applause), partake in a unique two-for-one deal at Enhance!, and explore a selection of distinctive apparel available for purchase. While Hawaii may be a relic of the past, you can still channel your inner tourist with a vibrant range of Hawaiian shirts.
-
The Enigmatic First Contact: The true allure of Paradiso lies in its associated quest, "First Contact." As a quintessential Bethesda protagonist, the universe revolves around you, and everyone seeks your aid. Your mission involves investigating an enigmatic starship of unknown origin adrift in Porrima's orbit. While it's a relatively straightforward quest that promises a trove of antique Old Earth treasures, you'll ultimately face a pivotal decision. Will you press the ship's occupants into indentured servitude for the resort, sacrifice your resources to provide them with a new Grav Drive, or opt for a more drastic resolution? In classic Bethesda style, compromise isn't on the menu, but personally, I chose to assist the settlers in exchange for a crate of immensely valuable Old Earth items. Among these treasures, you'll find a futuristic reinterpretation of the M1911, a contender for the title of the game's coolest firearm.
Moral dilemmas aside, Paradiso remains an exquisite haven that lives up to its name. Who needs the hassle of Artifact gathering when you can revel in the pleasures of this celestial paradise?
