Street Fighter 6 Tier List (SF6 Tier List)
S-Tier Fighters in Street Fighter 6
The S-tier stands above the rest as the best Street Fighter 6 characters due to their oppressive pressure, high-damage combos, great mobility, and top-tier normals.
JP
JP dominates matches through his exceptional zoning tools. JP excels at frustrating opponents from afar by controlling space with his poison and trap setups. Up close, his command grab and target combos make him formidable.
Ken
Ken applies relentless rushdown offense with quick mobility to overwhelm foes. Ken controls the match by continuously pressuring the opponent and opening them up for devastating damage.
Guile
Guile locks down the screen with his upgraded Sonic Booms and dominant anti-airs. He’s extremely versatile, capable of zoning, and wrestling control of the screen or offense. Guile’s oppressive pressure and balanced toolset make him top-tier.

A-Tier Fighters
A-tier fighters have great tools and options but lack either extreme pressure, combo potential, or mobility to reach S-tier status.
Juri
Juri dances around the screen with lightning-fast kicks and mobility. She builds Fuha gauge quickly to enter her intensive Setplay stance for tricky left/right mixups. Her combos and corner carry make Juri lethal up close.
Chun Li
Chun Li rapidly attacks with lightning legs and high mobility to control matches. Her hybrid style allows her to shift from offense to defense fluidly, always keeping the opponent guessing.

B-Tier: Well-rounded but Outshined
B-tier characters are fundamentally sound but don’t have any exceptional tools to overwhelm opponents. They can still succeed but have to work harder than top tiers.
Ryu
Ryu is the icon of Street Fighter with balanced normal attacks, specials, and combos. However, Ryu doesn’t have any cheap tricks or gimmicks to overpower enemies. Mastering fundamentals is required to win with Ryu.
Zangief
Zangief lacks mobility but makes up for it with devastating command grab combos and mixes. He struggles to get in on zoners and keep up with speedy rushdowns though.
Jamie
Jamie gets huge damage and combo potential at max drunkenness meter. But he’s inconsistent and losing meter between rounds limits his potential.

C-Tier: Underpowered
The bottom C-tier picks need buffs to compete with the rest of the cast. They can still win matches but have to severely outplay their opponents.
Dee Jay
Dee Jay has good normals but his specials are fairly weak. He lacks mixups and his below-average health makes comebacks difficult. Better buffs could boost Dee Jay up the tier list.
Marisa
Marisa hits like a truck with her command grabs but has to get extremely close to connect them. She’s too slow to catch faster characters and lacks ways to safely pressure blockers up close. Marisa feels incomplete in her current form.
Blanka
Blanka has unconventional mobility but severely lacks reliable combo potential or ways to pressure blockers. He gets zoned out far too easily as well.
Lily
Lily has potential with her stance mixups but lacks combo potential outside of counter hits and struggles mightily against zoners. She currently feels very underpowered.
