What Prices to Set For Your Products?
In our guide for Supermarket Simulator, we explained that when you first start your store, it's beneficial to choose a price slightly below the market price—going about 20 cents below is a commonly effective strategy. However, after trying out a different approach, we noticed that as you progress in the game, going a little over the market price is okay too! You can try rounding up the price by 10-20 cents.
Rounding the prices will also make it easier for you to give change to customers.
We must acknowledge the risk of potentially dissatisfying more customers with higher prices. While you might receive more complaints, don't worry; that doesn't necessarily mean you will get fewer clients. With each passing day, you will attract more customers to your shop. Don't worry if your products are a bit pricier.

Should I Overprice Some Products?
Contrary to what you might expect, overpricing some items can actually be very helpful. If you have popular products with higher market prices, you can easily increase their price by more than 20 cents. Selling them for 1 or 2 dollars more will not affect their constant purchases.

Furthermore, if you have been playing for a while, you may have faced the struggle of restocking items that sell quickly. It is important to always have enough products so you don't lose XP from customers who wanted to buy an item that is out of stock. If some items are more expensive, they will naturally sell slower, allowing you to focus on restocking the more popular goods.
