The SUPERVIVE Open Beta is finally here and thousands of players are already flocking to give this new MOBA meets Battle Royale game a try. Not only did SUPERVIVE amass quite the following during its demo, but it sparked a lot of interest from renown MOBA pro players and casters, making it the most played demo on Steam this year.

Having that in mind, we will go over the abilities of Joule so you can get up to speed and give her a try in your next game if you feel like this could be your main.

Joule is a high-voltage burst elemental Hunter who wields the power of thunder in her hands. She can deal massive burst damage unto unsuspecting enemies and can easily dive into the enemy team to unleash a deadly Thunderstorm that deals massive AoE damage.

Jolt

  • A simple attack that allows you stack up your massive while your other abilities are on cooldown.

  • Joule's passive enables you to deal heavy burst damage as well as dash in and out fights.

Voltaic Spear

  • A great opening ability or long-ranged poke to generate Passive stacks.
Surge

  • Although Joule is a ranged Hunter, you will need to go face to face with the enemy to maximize your damage output.

  • A great combo setup tool that also brings a lot of utility in a fight.
Thunderstorm

  • One of the strongest ultimates in the game, not only do you deal tons of AoE damage, but you are invulnerable, allowing you to strategically land a powerful combo together with your allies.
And that covers all of Joule's abilities in the SUPERVIVE Open Beta. Although the devs have mostly decided on the playstyle for the character, there might be some additional tuning once the game is fully released. Nonetheless, if you are looking for a ranged burst Hunter that loves to dash in to deal heavy AoE damage and quickly get out, then give Joule a try.
