T1 dominated GEN in the first game of the series, with Keria finding monster picks in the beginning of the game. Although GEN were a couple of kills behind, the gold lead was not that significant, until a pivotal team fight in GEN's jungle leading to Faker and Gumayusi getting some fantastic kills. Despite GEN's attempt to stabilize the gamestate, Keria once again found a great angle onto Chovy's Azir, resulting in T1 grabbing the Baron and winning the first game in the series.

In the second game GEN showed incredible patience and skills as they established a moderate gold lead early into the game. However, an incredible pick onto Ruler from Oner's Nocturne allowed T1 to press GEN into a corner and secure Baron, swinging the gold lead in their favor. A phenomenal turnaround with Oner, Faker and Keria leading the charge. An incredibly nail-biting game which ended at Elder Drake, and GEN equalizing the series 1-1.

What an incredible series as T1 and GEN seemed almost on par in terms of macro and team fighting. Duro's Blitzcrank was an absolute blast to watch as Canyon's Lillia was almost unstoppable. Back-and-forth action led to an over 50-minute game as both teams looked for the golden opportunity to win the series, but with both teams losing 4 of their members, Chovy's Viktor was able to defeat Faker's Taliyah and finish the series 2-1. One of the greatest LCK series thus far.
