Team Fortress 2: Players Gather to #SaveTF2 From Bots

A recent shockwave has set everyone's sights on Team Fortress 2, as the community has gathered to make Valve once and for all fix their beloved game by pressuring the developers to try and remove the bots' rampage. Given the cult status of TF2, it is incredible to see just how many players have started signing the petition to save Team Fortress 2 and reignite the fans' passion.

With that being said, we will take a look at everything you need to know about the recent whiplash of negative reviews, sending a message to Valve to fix their masterpiece of a team-focused shooter, full of iconic characters and cosmetics that have entertained us for many years. 

TF2's Massive Bot Problem

Nearly 200,000 people have already signed the petition as of writing this article, urging Valve to finally address the major bot issue ruining the experience for every player trying to relive their days full of nostalgia and Payload pushing. As of now, the movement has spread to many major gaming news outlets as well as hubs like Reddit, Twitter, Steam forums, and the like by using hashtags like #FixTF2 and #SaveTF2 that report the botting issue for everyone to see.

Team Fortress 2 has been struggling for five years with the massive onslaught of aimbots that have infiltrated the official servers, forcing thousands of players to rage quit out of frustration. As a result, the game has been bombarded with Mostly Negative reviews to further illustrate the sheer magnitude of the issue that the developers have inadequately handled.

The movement has amassed quite a following with seemingly more and more players tagging along to restore TF2 to its former glory as a free-to-play multiplayer hero shooter. Not only has this game defined entire generations of players, seemingly creating an active and amazing community full of mods, SFM videos and parodies. 

Since the game's release in 2007, Team Fortress 2 has paved the way for many modern multiplayer titles, and it would be a damn shame to see this gem be buried away by the ceaseless waves of aimbots kicking and killing players. Hopefully, Valve finally takes a proper stance and starts providing adequate support for the game.
