Teamfight Tactics Update 14.4 Full Patch Notes

The upcoming Teamfight Tactics patch 14.4 is set to release on February 22nd, 2024. Patch 14.4 might be the smallest patch ever in TFT. While it introduces only minor changes to a few champions, traits, and a couple of items, it reflects an effort to maintain a relatively balanced state for the game. Here is the full list:

Item Changes

Dragon's Claw

  • Magic Resistance: 55 >>> 65
  • Max HP reduced: 10% >>> 9%

Its magic resistance has been increased from 55 to 65 to make it more effective. However, the max health it provides was reduced from 10% to 9% to offset the magic resistance buff.

Radiant Adaptive Helm

  • It no longer grants both effects regardless of position.
  • Grants 1 bonus based on starting position.
  • Fully Adapted augment will grant both.
  • Front 2 rows armor and magic resistance bonus increased: 60 >>> 80
  • Front 2 rows mana gain on being hit increased: 1 >>> 2
  • Back 2 rows bonus ability power increased: 45 >>> 55
  • Back 2 rows mana per 3 seconds increased: 15 >>> 20

Radiant Adaptive Help also saw changes. The front-row bonuses were improved while the back-row bonuses were also strengthened to create more flexibility in use.

Trait Adjustments

Country

  • 7 Piece Hecarim attack damage ratio increased: 200 >>> 210

The Country-origin trait at 7 pieces now has an increased attack damage ratio on Hecarim, going from 200% to 210% to make the bonus more impactful.

Rapidfire

  • Attack speed per stack increased: 4/8/14% >>> 4/9/16%

For Rapidfire, its attack speed per stack was buffed at the 4 and 6-piece mark, with figures increasing. This should improve the power of running more than 2 Rapidfire carries.

Spellweavers

  • Base ability power: 20/35/70/120 >>> 20/35/80/130
  • Ability power per cast: 1/2/3/4 >>> 1/2/4/6

Similarly, Spellweavers saw its higher breakpoints buffed. The base AP and AP per cast are improved. This should make pushing 6 and 8 Spellweavers more rewarding.

Lillia

Lillia's mana costs were reduced to speed up her ability casts.

  • Mana pool: 70/120 >>> 60/110
Poppy

Poppy

Poppy also saw a bug fix, increasing her attack speed.

  • Attack speed: 0.65 >>> 0.7 (bugfix)

System

Double Up

  • Spatulas and Tome of Traits no longer appear in Assist Armories
  • Artifact Armory removed from largest Assist Armories
  • Adjusted second Assist Armory odds to be less inflation overall
  • Assist Armory changes
    • 3 components for 13g >>> 2 components for 9g
    • 2 training dummies for 5g >>> 1 training dummy for 4g
    • 1 tier 4 +4g for 6g >>> 5g
    • 1 tier 5 + 7g >>> 9g
    • Thieves Gloves for 7g >>> 10g
    • Champ Duplicator for 6g >>> 7g
    • Artifact Anvil for 13g >>> 12g
    • 2 Completed Items & 1 Reforger for 15g >>> 20g

Aside from standard gameplay changes, Patch 14.4 brings tweaks to Double Up assist armories - like removing Spatulas, Tome of Traits, and Artifact Armories. The goal is to curb some power creep from assists.

Overall, this is a very small patch for TFT players, but the tweaks and minor changes will still help smooth out the meta right before the world championship starts. For more Teamfight Tactics news and guides, make sure to check out the rest of our website!
