With over 12 TFT sets, Riot has experimented with various PvE elements and challenges, ranging from the simple Minions and Scuttle Crabs to more daring experiments like the Threats of Monsters Attack! mode. They're planning to keep the challenges coming! The new TFT Challenge will supposedly push the boundaries even further by giving us a version of TFT centered entirely around PvE rounds.

What to Expect in Tocker’s Trials:

  1. Magic n’ Mayhem at the Core: Players will have access to the current set’s champion and Augment roster, earning gold and leveling up similarly to a regular game. However, Charms will not be featured in this mode.

  2. 30 Rounds, 6 Bosses, 3 Lives: The challenge starts simple but gets more difficult as you play. TFT players will face new bosses but instead of HP, a life counter will track progress. You get only 3 lives, like in the classic video games. If you lose three - it’s game over.

  3. Solo Queue & No Timers: In Tocker’s Trials, it’s just the player against the game. There are no timers, allowing players to strategize at their own pace. You get to think and act in your own time which is great. No more rushing!

  4. Chaos Mode: If the normal mode, you can try out the Chaos Mode, which promises to be way harder. As the name suggests, this mode introduces unpredictable twists that players will need to discover and adapt to on their own.

  5. Rack Up a High Score & Share Your Results: As players progress through the rounds, they’ll earn points based on their performance. These scores can be shared with friends, adding the important for LoL element of competition.
