The Bear Season 3 Potential Release Date

John Landgraf, FX chairman announced at the 2024 Winter TCA Press Tour that The Bear Season 3 will premiere in June 2024. As usual, the full season is expected to drop all at once on Hulu.

This lines up with Christopher Storer's previous comments that The Bear Season 3 production would start in February 2024. So with about four months of filming, a June debut seems right on schedule.

An official cast list has not been revealed yet, however, fans can expect to see the following actors reprising their roles:

• Ayo Edebiri as Sydney Adamu
• Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Richard "Richie" Jerimovich

There's also potential for Jon Bernthal to return as Carmy's late brother Mikey in flashbacks. And judging from the various guest stars in Season 2, some special cameo surprises may show up again as well.

What Will The Bear Season 3 Be About?

Details about the plot for The Bear Season 3 are being kept a secret. But the Season 2 finale showed that the opening night of The Bear restaurant didn't go smoothly.

So Season 3 will likely show the aftermath as Carmy, Sydney, and the staff try to work through the problem on opening night. There are opportunities to explore Carmy's relationships with Richie and girlfriend Claire (Molly Gordon), as well as how Marcus deals with his mother's declining health.

Creator Christopher Storer has hinted that Season 3 will feature more scenes set in the kitchen now that The Bear restaurant is up and running. So expect plenty of chaos as the staff tries to work together to build the restaurant's reputation.
