The Bear Season 3 is finally here, and we're all on the edge of our seats to see how the producers will develop the story of our favorite characters. Without a doubt, Season 2 ended with a bang, and fans consider the show to be the most intense kitchen-set TV series of all time. Natalie's story is currently one of the most thrilling ones in the new Season 3. The character is played by Abby Elliot, who has been featured in 27 of The Bear's 28 total episodes.

She is the sister of Carmy and Mikey, and she's married to Pete, a sweet guy who's the complete opposite of Natalie's impulsive and passionate nature. Towards the end of The Bear Season 2, it was revealed that Natalie is pregnant. With this twist, we also got to explore the background of Donna, Natalie's mother, played by Jamie Lee Curtis. Let's take a look at the details surrounding Natalie's pregnancy!

Season 3 Episode 8 takes place almost entirely in Natalie's delivery room, as she tries her best to create a peaceful space for her expected child. Like most mothers, Natalie has been preparing for this moment for a long time. However, what she did not anticipate was having to call her mom Donna to ask her for support after arriving at the emergency room. Even though Nat loves her mom, there is no doubt that both she and Carmy have experienced some traumatic situations through Donna's uncontrollable behavior.

It seems like Natalie calls Donna only because she has no other option at first, but this later transforms into a wholesome experience. However, that doesn't erase the fact that Nat is extremely worried about her child. But why? Well, considering that Carmy did everything possible to escape his toxic home life after experiencing Donna's unhinged behavior, Nat is afraid that she will be bringing her newborn into a family full of generational trauma that she might not be able to deal with.

The Bear Season 3 The Berzatto Family

It is no secret that the Berzattos and most of the extended family of Faks and Jerimovichs in The Bear are glued together by love and support. However, they are also bound by shared chaos. Natalie is determined to shield her child from the disasters in her family, which also proves why she wants to be with someone as calm and normal as Pete in the first place.

Although Donna is always trying to do her best, her emotions usually get the best of her, and that ruins her relationship with her children. After she drove their car into their family home on Christmas, it would definitely make sense why Carmy and Natalie would hesitate to reach out to her, although they truly love her. However, we are convinced that Natalie will try very hard to provide a more stable and peaceful environment for her baby.
