Homelander enters the office with a nice cake - not bad for a last meal, right? He quickly reconnects with a few people who helped Vought raise him, and the tension is slowly building up because you know that none of the people there will walk out alive. Frank (Mark Cowling) gets burned in the very same oven that Homelander was caged in years ago, with Frank slowly increasing the temperature.

Marty (Murray Furrow) once laughed at John after catching him with his pants off, and Homelander recalled the vivid moments of privacy during his teenage years and the way they were ruined. Homie makes Marty masturbate in front of everyone and humiliates him until, eventually, he suffers a terrible death. Barbara (Nancy Lenehen) walks in, and her punishment is to live with this brutal image of blood and violence for the rest of her life.

Of course, there were also some Sage and Deep situations. Sage asks Deep to perform a frontal lobotomy to slow down the expansion of her brain; all she wants is to rest for a few hours. Maybe that's a good explanation for why she sleeps with him right after he is done with the procedure. Fans are commenting on multiple platforms that the lobotomy scene was simply disgusting, but there was something about it that just made them unable to look away.
