The Finals Class Tier List
Although there are no bad classes in THE FINALS, some outshine others in terms of their abilities, access to weapons, and all-around stats so we will be looking at all three of the classes in this tier list.
Heavy Class - B Tier
This class has 3 abilities, 6 weapons, and 12 gadgets up their sleeve. Let's first take a look at the abilities:
- Charge'N'Slam
- Goo Gun
- Mesh Shield
Unfortunately, Goo Gun does not bring that much impact to your gameplay, so you'd better opt for Mesh Shield for a defensive build or Charge'N'Slam for a melee build.
Now we will look at which weapons the class has access to:
- M60
- Sledgehammer
- Flamethrower
- Lewis Gun
- MGL32 (Grenade Launcher)
- SA1216 (Shotgun)
Except for the Lewis Gun, all of the weapons are viable depending on which route you will go.
In terms of gadgets, you should stick to the following:
- Barricade
- RPG-7
- C4
- Dome Shield

Medium Class - A Tier
This class has 3 abilities, 6 weapons, and 15 gadgets up their sleeve. Let's first take a look at the abilities:
- Healing Beam
- Guardian Turret
- Recon Senses
Recon Senses is not as good of an ability as you can either go for Healing Beam for a more supportive role or Guardian Turret for a more aggressive build.
Now we will look at which weapons the class has access to:
- AKM
- R.357 (Pistol Sniper)
- CL-40 (Grenade Launcher)
- FCAR
- Model 1887 (Shotgun)
- Riot Shield
The CL-40 does not compliment the class all that much so you are better left picking any of the other 5 guns depending on your playstyle.
In terms of gadgets, you should stick to the following:
- Defibrillator
- APS Turret
- Sonar Grenade
- Glitch Trap

Light Class - S Tier
This class has 3 abilities, 8 weapons, and 11 gadgets up their sleeve. Let's first take a look at the abilities:
- Evasive Dash
- Grappling Hook
- Cloaking Device
This class has amazing abilities that help with either movement or becoming invisible to gain the upper hand in some cheeky fights.
Now we will look at which weapons the class has access to:
- M11
- SH1900 (Sawed-Off Shotgun)
- SR-84
- Sword
- Dagger
- LH1
- V9S
- XP-54 (SMG)
There are no weaker weapons, and it depends on what playstyle you would like to go for. The Light class is great at picking out single targets as you can deal a massive amount of damage in a short timeframe.
In terms of gadgets, you should stick to the following, however, all of them can fit a certain role depending on the map and matchup:
- Breach Charge
- Flashbang
- Goo Grenade
- Pyro Grenade
- Glitch Grenade

Summary
All in all, THE FINALS mainly depends on how well you can navigate your class and how much knowledge of the maps and gameplay you have. Since most matches you will face a group of the three classes together, you should primarily see what your team needs and use the strengths of that class to your advantage.
The Light Class is very agile, offers quite a lot of damage, and can easily delete enemies if they are not paying attention. The Medium Class is in the middle as not only do you have a lot of utilities, but you can also quite easily fulfill multiple roles. The Heavy Class is not to be underestimated as his abilities can be a game-changer.
Whatever class you decide to pick up, make sure to enjoy yourself and improvise on the spot as the game is still gaining traction.
