The First Descendant Patch 1.0.7 - Character Tier List

Bunny is hands-down the best character for leveling up in The First Descendant. She can develop incredible speed to dash through the battlefield and gather more energy. Moreover, she can drop electric orbs that deal insane amounts of damage. Hotfix 1.0.7 fixed the issue where she could not hit nearby enemies when equipped with High-Voltage.

PROS:

CONS:

• Weak against bosses

Valby's biggest advantage is her Passive ability, which lets her consume less mana while standing on water. Her active skills are designed to enhance this ability, making her perfect for wiping out huge groups of enemies.

PROS:

• Exceptional mobility

CONS:

• Relies heavily on water

Freyna uses venom to kill her enemies, and her Active skills can increase her defense. She creates an area of effect that constantly damages her opponents, and the more foes she affects with her poison, the more damage she deals.

PROS:

• High AoE damage

CONS:

• Low mobility

Gley might not be the easiest to control, but she has amazing skill combos, and her vampire powers are one of a kind. She consumes half of her life for a buff that raises weapon damage and penetration, and she uses her Active skills to kill the enemy and regain her health.

• Effective against bosses

• Low mobility

Enzo is great at supporting the team, and his main goal is to make sure that his allies never run out of ammo. He calls special supply drops to dispense bullets and increases the maximum amount of ammo for everyone. However, he can also deal damage by setting up explosives.

• High survivability

• Weak damage

Ajax is a Tank character, and he can be obtained at the very beginning of the game. He provides protection for his teammates, and his primary power is putting down barriers around the battlefield. Additionally, his skills can reflect damage and boost defensive stats even further.

• Crowd control

• Relies on Modules

If you like dealing a lot of damage during fights, Lepic is the perfect choice for you. Apart from his sheer power, every time he receives fatal damage, he can experience a brief period of ignoring it and recovering HP instead.

• Easy to master

• Low mobility

Viessa is one of the most complicated characters in the game, but once you learn how to control her, you will be able to debuff enemies and deal more damage than you can imagine. Her skills are all ice-themed, and she can freeze her opponents at any spot she wants.

• Excellent crowd control

CONS:

• Low survivability

Esiemo is the master of explosives. He throws bombs against his opponents and detonates them at the right time for maximum damage output. Additionally, his bombs can stick to any surface, including the armor of his enemies.

PROS:

• Stackable damage

CONS:

• Weak Passive ability

Blair has an impressive Passive skill that allows him to deal increased Critical Hit DMG to those who have been set on fire by his Stoves. He can also increase his mana and give himself a defense buff.

PROS:

• Critical Hit Boost

CONS:

• Low mobility and survivability

Luna is the last character added to The First Descendant, and she is one of the few support characters in the game. Hotfix 1.0.7 resolved the issue where Noise Surge could not be acquired in the Hard Intercept Battle Executioner, but she is still a very bad damage dealer.

PROS:

• Unique Weapon with Auto Aim

CONS:

• Low Base Stats

Kyle's Magnetic Force allows him to heal himself and deal damage to nearby enemies at the same time. This ability can be expanded even more by putting down a shield, and his Superconductivity skill lets him fly and release all of his stored Magnetic Force at once.

PROS:

• Effectively stuns enemies

CONS:

• Weak during boss fights
• Limited to close-range attacks

Jayber can use Assault and Medical Turrets, together and separately, which increases his attack. However, keep in mind that Jayber is too dependent on his turrets.

PROS:

• Good for Hard Mode

CONS:

• Slow
• Low damage output

Yujin can use some help when it comes to his DPS, but he can support the team like nobody's business. He uses special drones that rescue his allies and provide healing effects.

PROS:

• Healing abilities

CONS:

• Bad solo player

Although Sharen can deal good damage in close-quarter combat, she is the weakest character in The First Descendant so far. Her skills aren't the most powerful, and she is weak against bosses. However, she can become invisible, and she's great for those who like using stealth mechanics.
