How to Find Encrypted Vaults in TFD?

• Search for a Square Hologram

Encrypted Vaults appear in specific areas on The First Descendant map. Look for a greenish holographic square; this indicates that a vault is nearby. Head to it and proceed with the next step in this guide.

• Use Ecive Scan

Once you were able to find the holographic square from the previous step, use your Ecive Scan and listen to the ping. A clear ping means you are moving in the right direction. A pig that's not as clear means you're moving away from the vault. Like this, you're supposed to find the vault easily.

 How to Unlock Encrypted Vaults in TFD?

• Use Code Analyzers

To unlock an Encrypted Vault, The First Descendant players will need a Code Analyzers. These are three types of Code Analyzers you can find in your game as drops from enemies during certain missions: Code, Precision Code, and Ultra-Precision Code Analyzers. As you can see, there's a gradation between the different Code Analyzers, which will be explained in the next step.

• Complete the Mini-game

Once you use the Code Analyzer on the encrypted vault you just discovered, a mini-game will start. This involves stopping a rotating pointer in a designated area. The difficulty of the mini-game depends on the type of Code Analyzer used.
