Without a doubt, Gley has one of the most tragic stories in The First Descendant. She was a captain of Albion's Medical Corps, and she had a daughter called Dia Elias. After losing the rest of her family on the battlefield, she didn't want her daughter to even think about combat. However, Dia asked Ajax for a recommendation to enlist in the military.

Ajax agreed to write the letter, which immediately resulted in a fight between him and Gley, who felt betrayed by her colleague. Later, both Gley and Dia were captured by the Order of Truth and subjected to experiments that involved injecting Vulgus DNA into humans. Gley lost consciousness, and she was rescued, only to find out that her daughter was still missing. Gley is now dedicated to finding Dia, hoping that she is still alive.
