The First Descendant is here, and we're ready to continue fighting to save the human race from the evil Vulgus. However, no adventure is fun without our favorite character. If you're a fan of Valby and you want to figure out how to unlock this Descendant, you've come to the right place.

Valby is one of the 14 playable characters in The First Descendant, and she is the best when it comes to crowd control and mobbing in the game. With her water abilities and the fact that she is relatively easy to learn, she can be a good choice for both experienced and inexperienced players. The First Descendant Valby's Story

Valby has always been saddened by the pollution caused by the war, and her biggest dream was to restore Ingris' ecosystem. One day, she encountered the Order of Truth in Vespers Woodland, and she tried to fight the Vulgus, but without an Arche teleportation device, she was unable to call the Descendant Corps for help. She was overpowered and thrown into the lake.

When she was about to lose consciousness under the water, her survival instincts kicked in, and she wished to fight and protect the lake. Suddenly, a giant wave emerged and destroyed the enemies. Valby's new ability allowed her to become one with water, and she transformed into a powerful protector of everything she loves.

The First Descendant How To Unlock Valby?

There are two ways to unlock Valby in The First Descendant - you can either buy her with real money or simply play the game and gather all the materials required to research her. All you have to do is visit Magister Anais in the southwestern area of Albion, in the room next to the City Entrance fast travel point, and provide the following items:

Once you've gathered all the materials required, go to Magister Anais again to research Valby. Keep in mind that the process takes 12 hours and you will need to give additional 100,000 Credits. If you prefer to skip the process and the waiting time, you can always purchase Valby at the in-game store for 600 Caliber.

The First Descendant Valby Skills

Valby has her own unique set of skills that can help you progress fast in The First Descendant once you learn how to control her. She has one passive and four active skills, and they are perfect for anyone who loves water. Let's take a look at all of Valby's skills, so you can prepare for the next battle.

Passive Skill

 

Water Intake

• When using skills while standing on water, she consumes less Mana.

Active Skills

 

Bubble Bullet

• Bounces a Bubble Bullet forward to create a small puddle. Enemies in the puddle take continuous damage and are inflicted with Laundry.

 

Plop Plop

• Creates a large puddle and Valby then pops out at a selected location. Enemies take continuous damage and are inflicted with Laundry.

 

Laundry

• Vallby becomes Liquefied. She cannot take her feet off of the ground or use skills but her Movement Speed and DEF increase.

 

Laundry Bomb

• Changes the equipped weapon to the Laundry Bomb Launcher. When the Launcher is fired, a Laundry Bomb is created, pulling in enemies inflicted with Laundry and dealing continuous damage.

As with any other character in The First Descendant, Valby comes with her own strengths and weaknesses.
