The Sims 4: All Skill Cheats

Sometimes, TS4 skill caps can limit your exploration of your sims' full potential, whether it's in hobbies, everyday tasks, or work. In this article, we've compiled all skill cheats from every game pack, allowing you to easily level them up or down based on your gameplay and storytelling needs.

About The Sims 4 Skills

If you're reading this article, you probably already know what Sims skills are. However, it's important to note that The Sims 4 has four types of skills - Major, Minor (depending on whether they have a level 5 or 10 cap), and skills for Children and Toddlers (which become unavailable once your sim ages up but transform into other skills).

How to Use Cheats in The Sims 4 

Using cheats in TS4 is easy. Simmers have been doing it ever since the game first came out, so there's nothing to worry about, as cheats won't bug your game, and they're not against EA's policy. Follow these 3 easy steps:

Step 1:

• PC or Mac: Press Ctrl+Shift+C simultaneously.
• PlayStation: Press the R1+R2+L1+L2 buttons simultaneously.
• Xbox: Press the RB+RT+LB+LT buttons simultaneously.

Step 2:

The command you just input will open a bar at the top of your screen. Type one of the following cheats and press Enter:

• testingcheats true
• testingcheats on

Step 3:

Now, type in the cheat you want to use and press Enter.

TS4 Set Skill Cheat

After you've entered testingcheats, skill gaining can be done easily by using the 'stats.set_skill_level #' cheat. Just replace # with the level you wish your sim to upgrade their skill to.
