Three New World of Warcraft Expansions Revealed - The War Within, Midnight & The Last Titan

BlizzCon 2023 is underway and there have been plenty of amazing announcements. The biggest reveal of the night was during the World of Warcraft section, where Blizzard did not only reveal the next expansion 'The War Within', but they also did a small showcase of the next two as well. Chris Metzen was brought on stage to reveal the full 'roadmap' for the next few years of the World of Warcraft saga he called - Worldsoul. 

These three expansion will be released in the following order:

1. The War Within - Fall 2024
2. Midnight - Unknown
3. The Last Titan - Unknown

World of Warcraft - The War Within

As 'Dragonflight' is nearing the end of its life-cycle, fans were eagerly expecting the announcement to the next big expansion in the saga. This was revealed to be World of Warcraft ' The War Within'. This new adventure is set to release in Fall 2024, with the usual content we could expect from Blizzard.

For players currently enjoying 'Dragonflight' or preparing for 'The War Within,' the in-game economy remains an integral part of the experience. In 'The War Within' players are going to be exploring everything from the Nerubian Empire to having encounters with emmisaries of the Void. The big focus of the expansion is going to be delving deep into the ground to uncover secrets and treasures of long-lost civilizations.

World of Warcraft - Midnight

The second expansion in this saga will have us returning to the old lands, most notably - Quel Thalas. The forces of the void have invaded the elven kingdom with the intent to snuff out the Lightwell. Players will have to reunite the elven tribes with the goal to fight back the forces of the Void from plunging the world into darkness and fear. 

Not much more was shown about World of Warcraft 'Midnight', but the idea of an expansion focused on the conflict between the elves and the void has peaked the interest of players.

World of Warcraft - The Last Titan

It just wouldn't be an interesting story if it didn't end with the Titans in some way. 'The Last Titan' is the last expansion in the 'Worldsoul' saga that was announced at BlizzCon today. The focus of this new installment will be returning to Northrend and the fan favorite raid - Ulduar. Here players will interact with the Titans and uncover a mystery that spans the entire history of Warcraft.

Similar to the 'Midnight' expansion, nothing more in-depth was shown except the general story that will take place.
