Throne and Liberty: Cave of Destruction Guide

The Cave of Destruction is a challenging 1-Star Dimensional Circle dungeon in Throne and Liberty. In it, you'll have to face off against the powerful boss  Lequirus. The TaL dungeon will make you face off Lequirus, a creature of dark magic empowered by a Star Fragment. Once a Queen Ant, Lequirus has evolved into a more dangerous form after consuming countless invaders. Will you be one of them? The cave is pretty simple to navigate and basically you'll just have to defeat everything you stumble upon - nothing too difficult or strategic.

Cave of Destruction Walkthrough

1. Clear the Dungeon

The dungeon begins with clearing multiple rooms filled with mobs. Be cautious of the exploding ants, which deal decent AoE damage when they die.

• Tip: Make sure not to kill these ants near your teammates to avoid unnecessary damage.

2. Defeating the Giant Mutant Acid Ant

After you destroy the Giant Acid Ant egg, the Giant Mutant Acid Ant will appear. Be prepared for a fight! This boss will spread green acid on the ground, which players should avoid by moving out of the way. Its Fury attack pulls players toward it, so it’s crucial to block or evade to avoid getting caught.

How to Beat Lequirus in Throne and Liberty?

Lequirus is the final boss of the Cave of Destruction. This boss is not too hard to beat but you'll have to pay attention to its mechanics. 

1. Start of the Battle
   The boss battle will start off normally, with Lequirus targeting the tank. After some time she will spawn red and blue ants. This is where it gets interesting.

2. Paralyzing Ants and Marked Areas
   Lequirus spawns two ants: red and blue, as we already mentioned. At the same time, a colored marked area appears on the ground. Now Throne and Liberty players have to defeat the ant that matches the color of the marked area. Is it blue or red? Pay attention! Doing so will grant an attack buff and allow access to the area for a crucial defensive mechanic.

3. Get on the Pillar 
   The boss will scream and you'll have to run to the colored area we talked about. A pillar will appear and start growing up from the ground. You should be on it, avoiding Lequirus' massive AoE attack. You'll be lifted in the air while on the smaller platform will appear ant. 

4. Dealing with the Gem Ant
   We already said a Gem Ant will spawn on a platform. Locate it and glide to the platform to defeat the Gem Ant (or get there in any way possible as fast ask you can). Be quick and avoid Lequirus' poison. 

5. Finish the Battle
   Jump off the platform and continue the boss battle. When Lequirus' health falls below 50%, she can put larvae on the players. To get them off - simply stand close together, merging the larvae.
