Best Pals to Catch Early in Palworld
Quivver
The dragon-type Pal Quivver hits ridiculously hard right from early levels. While not very durable, Quivver's extreme offensive presence quickly dominates battles when supported. Find in the southeastern mountains.
Warsect
Warsect is built like a stone wall, with health and defence ratings each exceeding 400. It also boosts your own defence passively and applies fire damage to your attacks. Accompanying moves include strong Grass and Ground attacks.

Nightwing
Obtaining a Nightwing grants the invaluable ability to take to the skies for transportation, scouting, and aerial combat/bombing. While decent fighters, their flight lets you reach new heights early on. Nightwings spawn even near the starting Plateau.
Rayhound
Rayhound is arguably the best non-flying mount, with excellent speed and a double jump ability to bypass obstacles while riding. You can traverse almost any terrain quickly with Rayhound.

Eikthyrdeer
Serving as both an offensively capable fighter and rideable mount, Eikthyrdeer is ideal for exploring unknown areas, providing damage potential plus escape utility if overwhelmed.
Katress
A jack-of-all-trades, Katress wields well-rounded attacks that prove consistently reliable. But the best thing about her is the passive which makes Neutral Pals drop more resources when defeated.

Teafant
While no damage-dealer itself, the cute Teafant provides a super valuable Soothing Shower healing ability that restores health to itself and you mid-fight. Sustaining through battles is critical early on. Search shorelines/beaches for Teafants.
