Assassin's Creed Mirage is poised for launch on October 5, just a few days away. Ubisoft, the developer, has a humble request for its dedicated fans: please refrain from spoiling the game for others.

In a Twitter post (found below), Ubisoft emphasized its desire for continued discussions and excitement surrounding the game. However, the developer kindly asked players not to share any spoilers without clearly marking them as such when posting online.

The message from Ubisoft on Twitter stated, "No spoilers. With the impending release of Assassin's Creed Mirage, we would like to request that you consider your fellow Assassins and avoid posting or sharing unmarked spoilers that could diminish their gaming experience. Thank you. The wait is nearly over."

In the world of video games, unwanted spoilers are unfortunately all too common. Leaks, including trailers, gameplay details, and achievements, often make their way online even before a game officially launches. Ubisoft's request for players to exercise caution with spoilers is a common practice. Other developers, such as Insomniac Games before the release of Spider-Man 2 on PlayStation 5, have made similar requests.

Assassin's Creed Mirage represents a return to the series' roots with a focus on slower-paced, stealth-based gameplay, a departure from the role-playing game elements of previous titles like Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla. Unlike its predecessors, the game features a smaller map and a completion time of approximately 20 to 30 hours, in contrast to the several dozens of hours required for prior entries.

Assassins Creed Mirage was officially unveiled during Ubisoft Forward 2022 following a series of leaks. In this installment, players step into the role of assassin Basim Ibn Ishaq, and the game is set in the city of Baghdad, taking place 20 years before the events of Valhalla.
