Upcoming Honkai Star Rail 1.6 Banners and New Characters

Headlining version 1.6 are two new playable five-star characters! They will be released in two phases:

• Ruan Mei: a Harmony path Ice-elemental attacker
• Dr. Ratio: an Imaginary path attacker aligned with the Hunt faction

Accompanying Dr. Ratio or Ruan Mei's banner debut will also be the four-star character Xueyi, a Destruction path Quantum attacker.

Additionally, popular five-star characters Blade and Kafka will be receiving rerun banner events during the 1.6 update. Blade and Kafka were initially released earlier in the game's life cycle, with Blade being a powerful Destruction path attacker and Kafka utilizing the rare Nihility element.

Their rerun banners provide an opportunity for new and returning players alike to add these fan-favorite characters to their rosters.

New Light Cone Weapons Accompany Honkai Star Rail 1.6 Banners

As with every version update, Honkai Star Rail 1.6 comes with new five-star signature Light Cones themed around the update's highlight characters.

Phase One

• Ruan Mei - Past Self in Mirror | Harmony Path Light Cone
• Blade - The Unreachable Side | Destruction Path Light Cone

Phase Two

• Dr. Ratio - Baptism of Pure Thought | Hunt Path Light Cone
• Kafka - Patience is All You Need | Nihility Path Light Cone

Ruan Mei's banner debuts alongside her Harmony Path Light Cone, while Dr. Ratio receives a Hunt Path signature weapon. Kafka and Blade's banners also feature rate-ups on their signature armaments.

New Endless Wave Survival Mode Added

In Honkai Star Rail version 1.6, a new permanent game mode called Pure Fiction is introduced. This endless wave survival challenge requires players to assemble a squad of three characters to withstand enemy attacks for as long as possible.

Pure Fiction mode offers players an additional way to test their combat skills and character builds. Leaderboards and special rewards for reaching specific wave milestones encourage players to strive for higher endurance against the relentless hordes.
