For the first time, the prestigious Valorant Champions will be hosted in North America, specifically in Los Angeles, as a tribute to the region's unwavering passion for the game since its inception. The highly anticipated tournament is scheduled to run from August 6 to 26 and will be held at two iconic venues - the Shrine Auditorium and the Kia Forum.

Sixteen top teams from various regions - EMEA, Asia-Pacific, the Americas, and China - will converge in Los Angeles to compete for the coveted trophy. The previous years saw Acend (2021) and LOUD (2022) emerge victorious, but the question now remains: who will seize glory this time?

The first team to secure their spot at Valorant Champions 2023 was DRX, a testament to their exceptional performance. Each of the three international leagues will be represented by at least four teams, while China will send three formidable squads to contend for the title.

In the Americas and Pacific regions, the top three teams from each league automatically qualified for the event. DRX, Paper Rex, and T1 emerged victorious in the Pacific league, while LOUD, NRG, and Evil Geniuses secured their places through the Americas league.

For the EMEA region, the three spots were decided based on the results of VCT Masters Tokyo. As the best-performing teams from the region in Japan, Fnatic, Team Liquid, and FUT successfully secured their positions in Valorant Champions.

Notably, EMEA gains an additional slot due to Fnatic's triumph in Japan, resulting in both the winner and the runner-up of the last-chance qualifier getting the chance to participate in the thrilling season-ending event.
