Valorant New Monkey King Skins: Release Date, Weapons & Pricing

Episode 7 Act 3 in Valorant introduces the game's first new duelist in over a year, along with significant changes to agents and weapons. All these changes coincide with the launch of a new battle pass and a premium skinline. Interestingly, this premium skinline takes its inspiration from the myth of the Monkey King from A Journey to the West.

The Valiant Hero bundle features a striking black, red, and gold color scheme, reminiscent of the Imperium bundle from the previous skin collection. However, the star of the show in this bundle is an impressive, dual-handed melee staff.

The Valiant Hero skinline will make its way to Valorant on October 31, 2023. 

Valorant Valiant Hero Bundle Price & Variants

The Valiant Hero bundle in the game includes the following:

• Bundle Cost: 7,100 VP (comprising four gun skins, one melee weapon, one gun buddy, one player card, and one non-animated spray).
• Edition: Premium

Weapons included in the bundle:

• Ruyi Staff (dual-handed melee): 4,350 VP
• Ares: 1,775 VP
• Operator: 1,775 VP
• Ghost: 1,775 VP
• Vandal: 1,775 VP

Variants for the Valiant Hero weapons:

• Red design with a custom Wukong in the finisher
• Purple design with a custom Wukong in the finisher
• Blue design with a custom Wukong in the finisher

Being a premium skinline, the bundle itself carries a price tag of approximately $70. While opinions on the skins vary within the fan base, one element stands out – the Wukong-inspired staff.

This staff, inspired by Wukong, is a first of its kind in Valorant. Previous bundles have introduced other two-handed melee weapons, such as the Ruination sword, but none have taken the form of a staff. With this unique addition, fans eagerly await the opportunity to wield it in the game.
