Valorant Patch 9.03 - Agent Tier List

Jett is hands-down the best Agent in Valorant Patch 9.03. She is a very good duelist, perfect for fighting with knives. However, keep in mind that she is mostly useful for solo play.

PROS:

CONS:

• Limited utility for the team

Cypher has no equal when it comes to map control and surveillance. Just be careful with his traps; they are effective, but you cannot change their position after you have put them down.

PROS:

• Information gathering
• Area control

CONS:

• Vulnerable to enemy attacks

Clove is not only the first non-binary Agent, but they're also extremely good at both aggression and tactics. Although they're difficult to control, their abilities are perfect for controlling the game and supporting allies.

PROS:

• Abilities that surprise the enemy
• You can now ping her Ruse ability and see an additional icon on the map

CONS:

• Difficult to master

Even after the nerfs Reyna went through in Patch 8.11 that were necessary to reduce her dominance on the battlefield, she remains a very powerful choice. If you're a fan of aggressive fights and dealing a lot of damage, you will love Reyna.

Everybody likes Sova! He has a very well-developed ability to gather information, and once you learn how to work with him, you can become unstoppable.

• Less effective in defensive situations

Raze can break through any enemy defense, and she's one of the best Agents to rank up with. However, she isn't as unpredictable anymore, which puts her slightly lower than her usual S-tier spot.

• Deals massive damage
• Forces reposition of the enemy

CONS:

• Difficult to control

Omen's biggest advantage is that he deals insane amounts of damage. However, even though he gets so many kills, he is almost constantly at high risk himself.

PROS:

• Versatile teleportation abilities
• You can now ping the From The Shadows ability and see an additional icon on the map

CONS:

• Enemies hear the sound of his teleportations

Iso is a controversial Agent who recently moved up and down the charts a few times, but he now has a stable position in the A-tier category. He rewards precise aim, and the moment you master him, you will gain a very valuable strategic advantage due to his immobilization abilities that catch his enemies by surprise.

PROS:

• Complex abilities and advanced tactics
• Kill Contract's overall effectiveness is improved

CONS:

• Difficult to master

Sage can heal her allies as long as they are within her range, but keep in mind that her defensive abilities aren't the best and she's often left vulnerable to enemy attacks, especially while she's healing.

PROS:

• Placement preview for Barrier Orb shows up on the minimap
• Team support

CONS:

• Vulnerable when healing

Neon is a duelist with a huge damage output. She shoots lasers, and she's extremely fast. This Agent interferes with enemy vision, and she can easily enter any area or site.

PROS:

• Deals huge damage

CONS:

• Players need to adjust their aim according to their speed

Chamber's abilities are not easy to use, and he may lack team utility, but his teleportation skills can take the game to the next level.

PROS:

• Useful for aggressive play

CONS:

• Less effective in defensive situations

Gekko is the most appropriate choice for beginners who want to explore an Agent with multiple roles. Unfortunately, he takes too long to recharge.

PROS:

• Massive damage in a vast area

CONS:

• Not suitable for solo play

Phoenix is a strong duelist, but he is often considered inconvenient due to his predictability on the battlefield.

PROS:

• Excellent healing abilities
• Great head-on engagement

CONS:

• Vulnerable to enemy attacks

Killjoy gathers information, but she also has a very wide variety of traps that can be deployed to control the area. However, she requires a long setup time.

PROS:

• Deals significant damage

CONS:

• Requires a lot of team coordination

Brimstone has very powerful area denial abilities, and his UI targeting is better than ever. His disadvantage remains his predictability, which can be avoided only by experienced players.

Yoru can always create a good amount of chaos on the battlefield with his abilities for misdirection. However, he is very difficult to master.

• Teleportation is predictable

Viper is a solid character who deals massive damage by using her poisonous gas and environmental manipulation abilities. Unfortunately, like many other Agents, she is difficult to get used to, and a lot of players simply give up on trying.

• Huge damage
• Area control and denial
• Snake Bite spreads more consistently

CONS:

• Difficult to control

Deadlock is one of the most balanced Agents in Valorant, but her defense abilities aren't the best. She is generally considered to be a less effective fighter.

Although Fade has very unique skills that can deafen her targets and impair their vision, her mechanics are too specific, which automatically puts her in a lower tier.

Skye can heal her allies and has some solid tracking abilities, but her weakness lies in her inability to handle any situation without her team.

KAY/O has great neutralizing abilities, and he is the best at pushing through defenses and taking charge of the team. The problem here is that he is too vulnerable when he's trying to escape from his enemies.

Astra can control the area very well, and she helps a lot in strategic play, but she needs too much team communication to become effective.

Breach's long-range stun abilities are a very big advantage. However, he relies heavily on coordination.

Harbor's effectiveness is often debated among Valorant players, and currently, he is still at the bottom of the tier list, even though he has some amazing vision-blocking abilities.
