Valorant Patch 9.07 dropped on October 8, 2024, and we're excited to see what the developers have in store for all fans.
Even though the new update didn't bring any new Agents to the roster and the developers are still trying to fix the problem with muting other players, some changes are definitely worth obsessing over. Let's take a look at the most important improvements in Valorant Patch 9.07.

Valorant Patch 9.07 Agent Updates
As of the newest 9.07 Patch, Agent ability projectiles, walls, and AOEs have been updated to have a more consistent audio presentation when clipping/passing through Astra's Cosmic Divide.
Moreover, abilities such as Cypher's Spycam will no longer be placed in the space above a rising Sage Barrier Orb. Neon had a bug where she used backward slide inputs and they could slide while standing, which has also been fixed.

Valorant Patch 9.07 Map Improvements
Abyss used to allow Agents to access an out-of-bounds area on top of the A Site, but this has been disabled. Additionally, the Spawn Barriers have been updated to prevent Cypher’s Cyber Cage from landing on top of the barrier.
Vyse's Arc Rose can no longer flash through the foliage in Attacker Side Cave, and the bug in Lotus that allowed players to avoid taking damage by hiding behind the hanging foliage on A Site has been removed. As far as Pearl and Fracture are concerned, Ground effects from Agent abilities no longer appear on glass floors.

Valorant Patch 9.07 Premier Updates & Social Changes
From now on, there will be no more problems with the Contender and Invite divisions, and the team's rank on the roster list will display correctly as 275 until you finish a match. The developers also fixed an issue where the schedule had overlapping text in some languages.
Until recently, the Block Player feature where you could block players while in a match and bypass the Hide My Riot ID Setting was having issues, but they have been resolved.

Valorant Patch 9.07 Competitive Updates
Since the release of Valorant Patch 9.07, the MVP screen is not displayed after a Deathmatch game, and players will not see any incorrect ranks when joining a party queued up for Competitive.
