Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 All Campaign Difficulty Settings
When you start the Campaign, you'll have the opportunity to choose between four difficulty settings: Easy, Normal, Veteran, and Angel of Death. They won't increase the amount of rewards you receive, but they'll up the intensity of all battles.
Easy
If you're a beginner and you're looking for a balanced story experience combined with less aggressive enemies, Easy mode would be perfect for you. The risk of dying is significantly low, and it will help you build some confidence before jumping into the more challenging part of the game.
Normal
Normal mode is probably the most common setting, and it'll offer a moderately challenging experience. Enemies will be more powerful than they were in Easy mode, but they won't be unstoppable. Keep in mind that you'll need to manage your resources wisely here since you'll be finding less of them.
Veteran
Veteran mode offers scarce but infinite ammo, and the enemies you'll encounter will be a lot stronger. If you already have experience with this gameplay style, don't be afraid to use this setting. Moreover, tactical play will be generously rewarded.
Angel of Death
Saber Interactive has prepared a little something to keep even the most seasoned fighters entertained: the Angel of Death mode. This setting is extremely difficult, and your recovery after making a mistake will take a lot of time. If you want to try out this mode, we recommend doing so with friends to gain some tactical advantage over bots.

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 All Operations Difficulty Settings
When you unlock the Operations page in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, you'll have the following difficulty options to choose from: Minimal, Average, Substantial, and Ruthless.
Threat: Minimal
The Threat: Minimal level of difficulty will allow new players to experiment with the 6 Classes without worrying too much about getting killed. Yes, enemies are still dangerous, but they aren't as deadly as they'll be in the higher-difficulty settings. However, if you want to progress in the game, you'll need to move on from this mode at some point.
Threat: Average
The recommended level for Threat: Average is 5, and this mode is perfect for players who have some experience but aren't feeling overly confident. Be prepared to meet some relatively strong enemies, and don't be surprised when you see that your medical stims aren't as effective.

Threat: Substantial
Threat: Substantial will provide a very good challenge for those who are more skilled and confident by leading you to a certain death if you get to a second down. You'll have to wait 60 seconds to respawn, and if all the other Ultramarines get killed as well, it will lead to a failure.
Threat: Ruthless
Threat: Ruthless is exactly what it says on the tin. This mode is appropriate only for the most experienced warriors, but keep in mind that you can play if you're above level 15. Medical stims are almost useless, the respawn times are increased, and enemies can kill you way faster than you expect.
