Remedy's creative director, Sam Lake, confirmed that Alan Wake 2 will include both paid and free downloadable content (DLC) after its launch. Lake mentioned that there would be "free DLC drops" coming, and these additions will be "pretty significant." He also assured players that all this extra content will be available for free to anyone who purchases the game.
The upcoming sequel, Alan Wake 2, is expected to offer a combination of the best elements from Remedy's previous titles. Some describe it as a fusion of Control's style, Quantum Break's live-action sequences, and the essence of Max Payne. The game is set to provide a survival horror experience and will feature both FBI Agent Saga Anderson and the horror author Alan Wake as playable characters.
Alan Wake 2 is scheduled for release on October 27 and will be available on the Epic Games Store. Additional details about the game's DLC content will be disclosed shortly after its launch.
