The latest game in the Final Fantasy series has recently been released and has been an immediate success. With glowing reviews for its spectacular visuals and the action-packed, lore-filled storyline, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is quickly becoming a part of our gaming lives.
What is Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?
A sequel to Final Fantasy 7 Remake that hit PlayStation 4 in April 2020, Rebirth has been a long-awaited second piece of the trilogy based on the classic 1997 JRPG. Despite being based on the Classic Final Fantasy 7, it will expand on the original story. We will see the iconic characters and journey through an open world as we continue Cloud’s story.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is available only on the PS5 until May 29, 2024, at which time PlayStation’s three-month exclusivity window will be over and the game will be released on PC.
Will Xbox see a version of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?
Considering the game is a Square Enix game, it doesn't look good.
Much to Xbox players' disappointment, the Japanese video game publishers have been known to ignore Xbox when it comes to its games. Unfortunately, it looks like we won’t be seeing an Xbox version of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth with no reports showing that such a thing is even being talked about.

Is there hope for a Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth release on Xbox?
One single piece of hope we have is that a few months ago Square announced that it wants to start releasing more titles to the Xbox community.
We have seen the recent release of Final Fantasy 14 Online Open Beta on Xbox Series X/S. We may see the latest Final Fantasy game come to Xbox but it will most likely be an uphill battle for the fans.
For now, PlayStation players can enjoy the game, and PC Gamers have to wait a few months. For information about file size, platforms, and editions, click here.
