Ichiban Kasuga’s sunny vacation to Hawaii won’t take flight on Xbox Game Pass when Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth first launches. While prior franchise entries are on the subscription service, the latest mainline chapter will forego Game Pass at release.

Will Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth be on Xbox Game Pass?
In an interview with Automation Media, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio director Masayoshi Yokoyama directly addressed the lack of a Game Pass launch. “At the moment, there are no plans for Infinite Wealth to come to Game Pass,” stated Yokoyama.
He did acknowledge the subscription provided “a very good method to invite new users” to Yakuza games. So while Infinite Wealth skips Game Pass on August 20, 2024, availability could come later down the road.
Practically every previous franchise entry has made its way onto Xbox Game Pass. This includes mainline titles like Yakuza 0, Kiwami 1/2, Yakuza 3-6, and Judgment.
Therefore, hopes remain high that Infinite Wealth will land on Game Pass around 6-12 months post-launch. But concrete details won’t emerge until much closer to that window.

Where You Can Play Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth at Launch
While Xbox Game Pass members will have to wait, purchasing Infinite Wealth provides day-one access across platforms. The Tropical Escape arrives on January 25th, 2024 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
Until potential Game Pass inclusion down the road, buying the game directly remains the only avenue for enjoying Ichiban’s latest exploits at launch.
