B Tier Tank Classes For Raiding in Season 3:

Guardian Druid Class Portrait

Guardian Druid

Guardian Druids have lost a lot of their power since the glory days of Season 2. Not only did their damage and survivability get nerfed in balance patches, but their new tier set just falls flat compared to their old one. Combine this with the fact that some other Druid specs like Balance and Restoration are in good spots and can be played competitively; this leaves Guardian with even less value, as it won't be brought for Mark of the Wild. Guardian Druids definitely need some changes to be strong in a raid environment.

A Tier Tank Classes For Raiding in Season 3:

Protection Warrior Class Icon

Protection Warrior

Protection Warriors are in a very strong spot for this raid tier. Their tier set provides them with some really strong quality of life to their survivability and damage. They offer amazing raid-wide utility with their Battle Shout and Rallying Cry, so at least one Warrior will have a secure raid spot. With the DPS Warrior specs being middle of the pack, there is the possibility of Protection taking the top spot, just for their utility.

Vengeance Demon Hunter Class Icon

Vengeance Demon Hunter

Vengeance Demon Hunters have been the talk of the town since their recent rework. They have so many tools they can use to control enemies, and they have become a lot more survivable in general. While they hold the top spot for Mythic+ in this upcoming season, in raids, most of their utility is hard to find an application. They are still going to be strong, but their utility is more suited towards dungeons than raids at the moment.

Brewmaster Monk Class Icon

Brewmaster Monk

Brewmaster has not received any significant changes for this season. The only big difference is their new tier set, which doesn't really affect how they play in a raid environment. They are fairly tanky and do good damage, so they are in a decent spot for this tier. What will really move them up or down in the coming weeks is the power of the Mistweaver Monk. It will become a battle about which is the better spec overall to bring for the Mystic Touch debuff. As we are ranking Mistweavers pretty high, for now, we are going to put Brewmaster in the middle of A tier.

Protection Paladin Class Icon

Protection Paladin

Protection Paladins offer some of the strongest buffs and externals in the game. Things like Blessing of Sacrifice, Blessing of Protection and Spellwarding are some of the strongest external abilities in the game. Protection Paladins also do a good amount of damage and are very survivable this tier. Their tier set is a little awkward to play around, but the bonuses it provides are amazing. Overall, we think that they are in a great spot and have great potential to be the best tank of this season.

Blood Death Knight Hero Icon

Blood Death Knight

Blood Death Knights have been getting buffed almost every patch since the beginning of Dragonflight. All of those buffs, along with the introduction of their new tier set, have made them a force to be reckoned with this tier. Not only are they doing some of the highest damage out of the tanks, but they also have a ton of survivability. All of this, and we haven't even talked about the new Legendary Axe that is going to drop from Fyrakk. Blood Death Knights are the only tank spec that will be able to use this weapon, and they will surely get another bump to their power level from it. Overall, Blood Death Knights are likely to be the best tank this season.

And that wraps up our deep dive of the tank lineup for Season 3 of Dragonflight's latest raid, Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope. Most of the tanks this season are very close to eachother in powerlevel, so unless you are trying to push the absolute limit, we believe you should just stick to the tank that you find the most fun to play.
