The most anticipated World of Warcraft Classic Hardcore tournament with a prize pool of 100,000 USD is nearing its end

WoW Classic Tournament Qualifier Duels

Following yesterday's epic Swiss bracket, over 100 players competed in normal duels to show their skills and for a chance to win 50,000 USD. The competitors had to play 5 duels total in order to qualify for the final stage. Having only 30 days to level up their characters to 60 and gear up, many faced enormous risks and challenges, not only having to level up in a Hardcore server where if your characters dies you have to delete it, but also managing to fend off griefers and bad actors who could intentionally or unintentionally get you killed.

Only the top 64 contestants advanced to the Mak'gora Finals as the best player out of each class will be eligible to win 6,250 USD even if they fail to place first in the Finals. The entire competition, with the help of Blizzard Entertainment, revolves around awarding skill, ingenuity, game knowledge and overall awareness of mechanics and duelling prowess of the players, worthy of being crowned the best in Azeroth.

Highlights of the Qualifiers

Blood, sweat, and tears covered the arena where the duels set place as incredible duels panned out for fans and diehard enjoyers of WoW to see. One of the highlights was Ziqo's Mage against Savix' rogue in an almost 10-minute clash with both players showing remarkable talent and knowledge of the game.

Othe well-known content creators and streamers participated in the tournament as they would stream their progress for fans to watch and take notes as playing World of Warcraft Classic Hardcore is no joke when even the best of players can sometimes slip up and kill their character. 

А very funny moment occured when two shamans were duelling as the camera man died from the Goblin Mortar of one of the players:

Mak'gora Finals Schedule

Players who are victorious in the Qualifiers Stage will be placed into a bracket. To advance, players must challenge their opponents to a Mak'Gora, a duel to the death, and the winner moves on to face the next winner. By the end of the day, only one will remain to be crowned the King or Queen of Death and earn themselves the lion's share of the prize pool!

Esfand, Sodapoppin and Xaryu will be casting the duels, starting at 10am PST / 12pm CST / 7pm CEST. Make sure to tune in as the bloodbath is just getting started.
