World of Warcraft's SoD continues to thrive, with over 4.5 million unique characters created across all SoD realms, and Blizzard aren't done. The flurry of recent patches and hotfixes continues with a small but crucial update to the Ashenvale PvP event. This new patch follows recent updates to Blackfathom Deeps, a reduction in gold prices for several rune-related items, and a tweaking of drop rates for certain high-level Wayliad Supplies.
So, what's changing with Ashenvale?

WoW SoD Ashenvale Event Changes:
These changes aim to reduce time between Battle for Ashenvale events, as well as make these PvP events more inherently rewarding.
Kaivax:
With hotfixes that are rolling out, we’re making two significant adjustments.
- The Battle for Ashenvale will now progress about 50% faster than previously.
- The reputation gain for participating in killing an enemy Keeper of the Grove or Blade Master has been increased to 400 (was 200).
Together, these should reduce as well as compensate for the longer time between battles.
Players, all in all, seem pleased with the constant flow of balance tweaks and event-balancing patches in Season of Discovery so far.
