Metamorphosis Rune Effect

This rune can be placed in the gloves rune slot for Warlocks. Here are the effects of the rune:

Metamorphosis

Transform into a Demon, increasing Armor by 500%, reducing the chance you will be critically hit by 6%, increasing your threat by 100%, increasing mana gained from Life Tap by 100%, transforming the functionality of some of your abilities, and granting some new abilities.

• Searing Pain: Now instant.
• Shadow Bolt: Becomes Shadow Cleave, a Shadow melee attack that hits up to 3 nearby enemies, but has a 6 sec cooldown.
•  Curse of Recklessness: Now also taunts your target to attack you for 3 sec, but gains a 10 sec cooldown and range is reduced to melee.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how you can unlock the rune:

1. Take the Orb of Des from the top of the Tower of the Ilgalar in Redridge Mountains.
2. Take the Bough of Altek from the top of the Tower of Althalaxx in Darkshore.
3. Take 'The Orb of Soran'ruk' quest next to Camp Taurajo in the Barrens [49.1 57.1]
4. Complete the quest by obtaining the necessary items from Blackfathom Deeps and Shadowfang Keep.
5. Collect 10 Blood of the Legion for the follow-up quest 'The Conjuring' in Demon Fall Ridge, Ashenvale.
6. After collecting the blood, stand in the purple altar in the middle and start the ritual.
7. Defeat all waves of enemies by using the 'Drain Soul' Warlock skill, including the final Infernal.
8. You will be able to take the 'Mysterious Traveler' quest, complete it and you will receive the rune.
