WoW SoD Phase 3: New Rune Abilities Preview

A new lengthy video detailing all of the important details regarding World of Warcraft Season of Discovery Phase 3 was recently released. We will go through all of the important details as well as take a deep dive into the new runes we can expect to see in Phase 3. 

This time around, we will see some rune examples for all of the classes in WoW as every class will receive six new runes in Phase 3 of SoD. Hopefully, some classes will receive the much-needed love that they deserve, as Warriors have been majorly suffering in Phase 1 and 2. 

WoW SoD Phase 3: New Runes

We will take a look at the rune previews for all of the classes for World of Warcraft Season of Discovery Phase 3. It seems that the new rune slots will be helms and bracers.

WoW SoD Phase 3 Druid Runes

Bear Druids are getting more love this time around, and perhaps Feral Druids might see a resurgence in terms of viability outside of their Wild Strikes buff.

WoW SoD Phase 3 Hunter Runes

Finally, ranged Hunters are getting some love as the class has been suffering for some time in PvE as most players prefer to go the melee route.

WoW SoD Phase 3 Mage Runes

Mages are getting even more ridiculous as this 5-second stun might be an absolute nightmare in PvP. It seems that the company is experimenting with a reward-to-risk system where you will need to adjust your damage output. 

WoW SoD Phase 3 Paladin Runes

Ret Paladins are getting even more power spikes as it seems that the devs also wants to make Tank Paladins viable in Phase 3.

WoW SoD Phase 3 Priest Runes

Shadow Priests are getting a new toy to play with but some of the players are not loving this new rune so far. Healers will be getting a lot more tools to either deal damage or heal even more efficiently.

WoW SoD Phase 3 Rogue Runes

Rogues will be getting a lot of love as these two new runes will surely amplify the damage dealt across all specializations.

WoW SoD Phase 3 Shaman Runes

Hopefully, Resto Shamans will be even more viable with this new rune as it seems that spell-oriented Enhancement Shamans might become a new niche build.

WoW SoD Phase 3 Warlock Runes

Warlocks are getting some huge boosts to the Affliction spec as well as a very powerful demon that will most likely be your go-to in all scenarios.

WoW SoD Phase 3 Warrior Runes

It seems that the devs are adamant at making Protection Warriors a meta pick, and although many Warrior players have been questioning this approach, we might see some positive feedback from the community once we see all of the new runes.
