In a recent data mine from Wowhead, we can see that Blizzard devs are testing how the new The War Within dungeon Priory of the Sacred Flame will play out in Season 2. The dungeon itself features some very amusing fights, coupled with a lot of options for pathing and taking on huge packs of trash to optimize your time.

Having that in mind, we will go over everything we know from the Wowhead data mine, however, the provided information is in no way or form final so make sure to take everything with a grain of salt.

Captain Dailcry

Sergeant Shaynemail

  • Brutal Smash damage reduced by 35% and now stuns for 3 sec (was 5 sec)
  • Lunging Strike initial damage reduced by 30% and periodic damage reduced by 17%

Elaena Emberlanz

Baron Braunpyke

  • Sacrificial Flame now lasts for 15 sec (was 5 sec) and now deals damage to all players when triggered.

Prioress Murrpray

  • Barrier of Light shield increased by 20%
  • Blinding Light damage nerfed by 30% while looking away and nerfed by 52% while looking at the boss
  • Embrace the Light damage nerfed by 66%
  • Sanctified Ground damage reduced by 28%
  • And that covers everything we know thus far. Melee players will certainly struggle with the Consecration mechanic, as the community has shared a lot of negative feedback towards Blizzard's attempt at balancing.
  •
  • We will certainly get more information as players start testing out the PTR and provide feedback to the devs. There has already been some community discussion regarding the design philosophy for Mythic+ in Season 2, and it seems like players are not happy with the way the devs are approaching endgame content.

Hopefully, Mythic+ players, especially tanks and healers will finally get some slack as Blizzard has been taking some questionable decisions in the past couple of years when it comes to the Mythic+ scene.
