Event Details
The developers behind Wuthering Waves have officially announced that players will be able to get a free copy of the upcoming 5-star character Xiangli Yao during the second phase of version 1.2.
To get this copy, players will have to participate in the [By Moon's Grace] event and amass Popularity for the Moon-Chasing Festival.
Players who have amassed enough Popularity can get Xiangli Yao starting on September 7, 2024.
NOTE: The exact amount of Popularity needed to get the free copy of Xiangli Yao will be announced at a later date.
[By Moon's Grace] will be a management event where players will have to build and upgrade stalls, interact with characters, and more to complete the event and amass Popularity. More about this event will be revealed at a later date.

Xiangli Yao Introduction
Xiangli Yao is a 5-star character from the Electro Element that uses Gauntlets. He is one of the new 5-star Resonators who will join the Wuthering Waves roster in version 1.2.
What we know so far about Xiangli Yao is that he is Huaxu Academy's Principal Investigator and a genius researcher. A gentle soul who is dedicated to research surrounding Automata Mechanics.
His gameplay trailer revealed that he is a fast character who uses his mechanical arm to pull off flashy moves. More details about this character will be revealed as we get closer to his release.
