Baizhi is one of the standard 4-star characters in Wuthering Waves that you can obtain through the Permanent Convene and for free at the beginning of the game. She's a Glacio Rectifier user who focuses on supporting the whole team by maintaining her buffs and healing.
In this guide, we'll show you the best way to build her so you can have the best F2P support possible for your team.

Baizhi is a versatile support character in Wuthering Waves, delivering great healing and buffing at the expense of more field time. She has an amazing Outro skill that is just slightly inferior to Verina's and delivers All-Type DMG Deepen to the next ally, but unlike other 'next-type' Outros, the buff does not disappear when you swap because it re-triggers on heal.
Her Sequences offer her a teamwide Cheat Death mechanic (at S5) and a Glacio DMG% bonus that helps characters from the same element (at S6).
Baizhi requires more on-field time than Verina; her healing is worse; her buffs are worse; and she's a bit clunky to play, but it's a free alternative, so you should still consider using her, as there aren't many support characters in 1.0.
Now let's look at the best way to build Baizhi in Wuthering Waves.

Since Baizhi is a supporting character in Wuthering Waves, there are currently no 5-star weapons that are a must-have for her. Ideally, you'll want to use Variation, a utility-focused weapon that allows you to rotate Baizhi out a lot faster.

Summary
Overall, despite the fact that Baizhi is inferior to Verina in Wuthering Waves, she remains the second-best support available to us at launch, and because she is free, you can use her in your second or third team in Tower of Adversity even after you receive Verina.
Her pet, who is actually the one attacking, also has a bit of delay, causing gameplay to sometimes feel sluggish, which is especially noticeable when comparing her to Verina.
Still, her Outro skill grants an amazing buff that can be kept up indefinitely, and she can easily enable the 5-piece Rejuvenating Glow set. Baizhi is a universal character that fits into every team and has team-wide healing capabilities.
Once she gains S5 and S6 she reaches a point that's way closer to S0 Verina which is worth pointing out.
You should definitely consider using her as she's a free character and your teams will be happy to have a healer on their side even when not properly built.
