Danjin is a standard 4-star character in Wuthering Waves that you can obtain through the Event Convene, Prevail the Lasting Night, as well as the Permanent Convene. She's a Havoc Sword user who consumes her own HP to attack, allowing for a unique high-risk, high-reward playstyle.
In this guide, we'll show you the best way to build her so you can have the best damage output possible for your team.

Danjin is a main DPS-berserker-like character who uses her own HP while attacking. Unlike other main DPS characters, Danjin does not rely on her Ultimate to deal the majority of her damage, and it is not required for her rotation.
This means she doesn't need to invest in Energy Regen and can focus solely on offensive stats. And if she wants to, she can remain on the field or even play alone with no downtime other than refreshing any team buffs you have.
Danjin's combo is relatively simple, requiring no switch cancels or other tricks to fully utilize her abilities. Normally, this would make her easier to play, but as a berserker, you will always be at half or lower HP, and a single mistake will result in your death.
She has two great mechanics to help you stay alive: her Dodge Counter is insanely strong, dealing a lot of damage and chaining with her other skills. Her animations are incredibly precise and snappy, making her the queen of parries and 1vs1 battles against bosses, where many of her disadvantages don't matter as long as you don't get hit.
Now let's look at the best way to build Danjin in Wuthering Waves.

Together with Havoc Rover, who benefits from Danjin's Deepen Outro, they make one of the greatest teams in the 1.0 update. The double Dreamless Echo combo is so powerful that it frequently clears entire packs of foes in an instant.
Danjin and Havoc Rover have excellent synergy, and playing them together is a blast; however, bear in mind that Danjin is more of a hybrid in that team, while Havoc Rover deals most of the damage.

Summary
Danjin has a few downsides. Despite her stable and constant damage, she cannot compete with the burst damage of many ultimate-focused characters such as Calcharo, Encore, and Jiyan at Sequence 0, resulting in a lower damage ceiling when considering entire teams.
Danjin can be played with any of the basic supports (Baizhi, Verina, and so on), but there isn't a strong, dedicated hybrid character to pair her with at launch. Mortefi is arguably the best option due to Danjin's split damage.
Overall, Danjin is a combo master with a variety of attack patterns that enable her to adapt to any situation. If you appreciate the berserker-like playstyle, you'll enjoy playing Danjin, especially once you get some of her Sequences, but be aware that if you don't like dying, you'll be doing it frequently.
