Wuthering Waves: Carlotta Build Guide

Carlotta is the newest character to be added to Wuthering Waves in Version 2.0. She is the first limited 5-star Pistols user and the first limited Glacio DPS, because we don’t need to talk about Lingyang. She is a unit whose damage mostly comes from her Resonance Skill, and the great part about her is that she can deal all of her damage at a distance, adding a safer playstyle than what most melee characters are used to. In this guide we’ll go over a brief overview of Carlotta as well as show you the best weapons and echo sets you should use on her, as well as give you tips on which skills to level up first.

Carlotta is a powerful Glacio DPS and also the first 5-star limited Glacio DPS. She is unique in the sense that she is also the first 5-star Pistols user to be added to the game. Pistols fans who’ve had to put up with the 4-star characters until now finally have a dedicated DPS they can call their main, and they won’t regret doing so, as Carlotta’s damage is just amazing. She is a character that generally relies on her Resonance Skill to deal damage, but her Resonance Liberation is nothing to scoff at either. With a total of 6 shots at your disposal, her Resonance Liberation certainly packs a lot of punch when used. This, coupled with the fact that Carlotta deals most of her damage from a distance, makes her a unique and powerful character to have for any type of content.

Carlotta Best Weapons

When it comes to weapons, Carlotta sadly does not have a huge variety of 5-star pistols to choose from due to the sheer lack of 5-star pistol users. Having said that, her best-in-slot weapon is without a doubt her signature [The Last Dance]. This weapon not only provides Carlotta with good CRIT DMG but also gives her a good boost in ATK% and even increases the damage of her Resonance Skill by up to 48%. This ticks all of Carlotta’s needs, and it is not hard to see why this weapon takes the cake. But do not despair just yet. While [The Last Dance] is Carlotta’s best in slot, there are other good pistols you can use on her.

Carlotta Best Echo Sets

Luckily for us, there is not much you need to worry about when it comes to Echo Sets for Carlotta. Her best-in-slot set is the newly added [Frosty Resolve], and it is the only set you will want to farm, as its 5-piece set effect is just an amazing boost to everything that Carlotta does. As for her main Echo, you will want to focus on the newly added [Sentry Construct]. It is an amazing Echo to use thanks to its passive 12% Glacio and Resonance Skill DMG, which are both stats that Carlotta loves to have.

	Transform into Sentry Construct and attack enemies in front, dealing 405.00% Glacio DMG. Each time the Resonator with this Echo casts Resonance Liberation, it charges the Strike Capacitor. Once Strike Capacitor is at max level, the Echo Skill cooldown will be reset. Use Echo Skill to transform into Sentry Construct and dive into enemies from the air, dealing 405.00% Glacio DMG and freezing the target. The Resonator with this Echo equipped in their main slot gains 12.00% Glacio DMG Bonus and 12.00% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus. CD: 25s.

For skills, you generally want to first max out Carlotta’s Resonance Liberation, followed by her Resonance Skill, Forte Circuit, Intro Skill, and lastly her Basic Attacks. This will bring out most of Carlotta’s potential, given that almost all of her damage comes from her Resonance Liberation and Resonance Skills.
