Today it was announced that the CBT2 for Wuthering Waves will be ending on March 17, 2024.
This news took players by surprise as there had been no prior information about the end of the second closed beta so it certainly stirred some waves.
Let's look at what the end of the CBT2 for Wuthering Waves means and how it affects players.

Wuthering Waves CBT2 End Date
The second closed beta for Wuthering Waves will officially end on March 17, 2024, at 18:00 (UTC+8) giving players 3 more days to test out what they want and farm some more Echoes before their account get completely wiped.
CBT2 has been going on for quite some time, and the end of March 17 marks four weeks of closed beta testing for the game.
That is quite a long period for a closed beta test and we can only hope that Kuro Games has gotten a ton of great feedback to help them develop the game further before its release in October this year.

Closed Beta Account Wipe
As with any closed beta, all progression players have made during the CBT2 in Wuthering Waves will be completely wiped. This means that the accounts will be stripped of all characters, levels, items, currencies, and everything else.
This is a normal development practice in any game, during all closed betas so there is no surprise that Kuro is doing it as well.
For those who still want to farm or progress their accounts further the next option will be to wait for maybe another beta, or hopefully finally the official release of the game.
