Most of us start playing Gacha games to collect all the characters we like. Whether it's because of their design or playstyle, there's always something for everyone. In Wuthering Waves, the main Gacha currency is called Astrite, and we'll show you how to best utilize it.

Beginner Character Banner
The beginner banner is a discount banner that will be available in Wuthering Waves immediately after the tutorial. You’ll need to pull on the beginner banner to receive a guaranteed 5-star character in 50 pulls. You’ll receive one from all of the available characters on launch at random.
Keep in mind that since it's a discounted banner, you'll get 50 pulls, but you only have to spend 40 Lustrous Tides. It's also a good idea to note that if you get your 5-star character early, you should use your Lustrous Tides on the standard banner instead.

Standard Character Banner
In Wuthering Waves, once you receive your guaranteed 5-star from the beginner banner, you’ll unlock the option for the standard banner. The standard banner is where you’ll be able to select the 5-star you want, and it will be guaranteed in 80 pulls. The character pool for this banner will stay the same and will contain the following characters:

Featured Character Banner

The featured character banner in Wuthering Waves works similarly to the one in Genshin Impact. 80 pulls will guarantee a 5-star character.
There is a 50% chance to receive the featured character and a 50% chance to receive a random standard one. If you’ve lost the previous 50/50, your next 5-star is guaranteed to be the featured character.
Pull count and pity carry over to the next banner. We still don't know how often these banners will switch, so stay tuned for that.
The first featured banner will be for the 5-star Resonator, Jiyan and will have a rate-up for the 4-star Resonators, Mortefi, Danjin, and Chixia.
Standard Weapon Banner
On the featured weapon banner in Wuthering Waves, you’ll be able to select which weapon you want, and you’re guaranteed to get it in 80 pulls. It’s not recommended for free-to-play players to pull on this banner, as at Union level 45, you receive a selector box that includes all the 5-star weapons in the banner, which are:
- Lustrous Razor
- Abyss Surges
- Cosmic Ripples
- Emerald of Genesis
- Static Mist

Featured Weapon Banner
Last but not least, the featured weapon banner in Wuthering Waves provides the signature weapon of the featured character. The great thing about this banner is that the weapon will always be guaranteed at 80 pulls.
Pull count and pity carry over to the next banner, just like the character banner. We still don't know how often these banners will switch, so stay tuned for that.
The first featured banner will be for the 5-star Weapon, Verdant Summit, and will have a rate-up for the 4-star Weapons, Dauntless Evernight, Hollow Mirage, and Augment.
