What is the Lootmapper?
The Lootmapper is one of the Utility Tools in Wuthering Waves that you can place down to mark out a circular area on the map that will show you any chests within that area.
You have three charges for the Lootmapper, and you can place down 3 Lootmappers at any given location.
Whenever you try to place a 4th Lootmapper, you will receive a prompt, and if you accept, the first Lootmapper you’ve placed will be removed.
Having three charges of this tool makes exploration a breeze in Wuthering Waves and is honestly a great way to mark out sections of the map without having to worry if you’ve missed something.

How to get Lootmapper
Getting the Loomapper is really easy, and you can do it soon after you start playing. You get the Lootmapper from the Pioneer Association in Jinzhou, which you unlock with a Tutorial Quest.
You get the Lootmapper from the Pioneer Association rewards, and you need to reach Pioneer Level 1 to get it.
To increase your Pioneer Level, you will need Pioneer EXP, which you can get by completing the Pioneer Association tasks that have you reaching a certain exploration percentage in each area.
Getting to Pioneer Level 1 is really easy and only requires that you get 300 Pioneer EXP.
Here are the exact steps to get the Lootmapper in Wuthering Waves:
- Unlock the [Pioneer Association] in Jinzhou
- Raise the Pioneer Level to [Level 1]
- Get Rewards
After you’ve gotten your rewards, all that’s left is to equip your Lootmaper and start using it.
To equip your Lootmapper, follow these steps:
- Open the [Main Menu] by pressing [ESC]
- Go to [Utilities]
- Choose [Lootmapper] and press [Equip]
After you’ve equipped the Lootmapper on the Utility Wheel, you’ll be able to choose any tool by pressing TAB on your keyboard and choosing it with your mouse.
All that’s left is to press the key tied to your utility tool, which should be T by default, and you’re set to start exploring and getting Astrite to summon your favorite characters.
